What is a Master License and what other options do I have?
When you go global with EmbroidMe, you have the opportunity to choose from three different levels of ownership:
- Master Licensees have exclusive ownership rights to lead and manage the growth of EmbroidMe throughout one or more countries. As a master licensee, you will enjoy full responsibility for adapting the EmbroidMe concept to your country or countries, including selling franchises as well as training and supporting local franchisees.
- Area franchisees own the rights to help Master Licensees grow EmbroidMe in a specific part of a country, such as a province or county. As an area franchisee, you would help the Master Licensee sell, start-up and support franchises in your area. In addition, you would own and operate one or more EmbroidMe stores.
- Individual franchisees have the ability to own and operate an EmbroidMe store under the direction of that country’s Master Licensee and Area Licensee.

For the Master Licensee, the road to success can be measured in many ways: the success seen through the initial flagship location, the growth of the brand through franchising and the subsequent success of the many EmbroidMe locations they will eventually support. The best news is, they have the full support of the EmbroidMe world headquarters through each and every step of the process.
Franchising
For the Master Licensee, the road to success does not stop at the flagship location. After successfully operating their store, the Master Licensee is then responsible for the growth of the brand in their country and begins franchising. They will enjoy the full on-site support of the world headquarters during this process and throughout the life of their business.
